ملتان میں کاغذات نامزدگی کی سکروٹنی کے بعد میڈیا سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے جاوید ہاشمی نے کہاکہ جس کے ساتھ بھی زیادتی ہو گی،میں اس کے ساتھ ہوں گا،میں سمجھتا ہوں جب ہمارے لیڈرز ان کی مدد سے اقتدار حاصل کرتے ہیں،تو پھر حکمرانوں کو ان کے مطابق ہی چلنا پڑتا ہے،میرے حلقے این اے 149کے جو لوگ ہیں وہ ہمارے باس ہیں،ان کے سامنے میں جھولی بھی پھیلاؤں گا،جو کوئی اپنے آپ کو طاقت سمجھتا ہو میں اس کا سامنا کرتا ہوں،لیکن جمہوریت کی جھولی میں اپنے حلقے کے آگے پھیلاؤں گا،میں زیادہ تقریریں کروں یا نہ کروں،جہاں جہاں جانا ہوگا وہاں جاؤں گا بھی ۔
