Death of sanitation workers in Faisalabad, Maryam Nawaz took notice, report sought

According to the details, Maryam Nawaz expressed her sympathy to the bereaved families and said that it is very sad that the sewerman met with a tragic accident while on duty. Chief Minister Punjab has asked Commissioner Faisalabad for a report on the incident.

WASA spokesperson while issuing a statement on the death of the sewer men said that the deceased employees were personally hired by the marriage hall management. WASA spokesperson says that the official named Asif was posted at Gulshan Colony Center and Shan Chauhar, Majra Center. The deceased WASA employees were working privately. There was no instruction for cleaning from WASA management, cleaning any private place is not included in the responsibility of WASA employees or management.
