A seminar was organized in the police line to raise awareness about the Terrorism Act
Evidence should be collected on scientific basis in terrorism cases, Shahzad Hussain
Faisalabad (94 news) Under the direction of Rafat Mukhtar Raja, Regional Police Officer, Faisalabad, a seminar was held at the Police Line Club on improving the professional skills and abilities of investigative officers and removing defects in the cases registered under the Terrorism Act. (ATC) Judge Faisalabad Deputy Prosecutor General (ATC)Talib Aleem Chatta Faisalabad participated in which he said that during the prosecution the flaws and defects in the cases under the Terrorism Act should be examined in detail and said that to improve the process of conviction in terrorism cases it is necessary to collect evidence on scientific basis. Cash and other things recovered in kidnapping cases should be secured, challans should be issued against the accused involved in the incident so that the real accused do not escape from the process of punishment.
15 inspectors, investigation officers and 5 inspectors of CTD participated in the seminar.
RPO Faisalabad while issuing instructions to all the investigating officers said that such training workshops play an important role in increasing the professional skills and abilities of the investigating officers, so all the investigating officers should benefit from the suggestions given by the prosecutors to improve the process of conviction in the cases registered under the Terrorism Act and the instructions given to improve the quality of prosecution and the actual conviction of the accused.
