MD WASA orders to speed up work on ongoing development projects under ADP

Faisalabad (94 News City Reporter) Managing Director Vasa Sohail Qadir Cheema has issued an order to speed up the work on the ongoing development projects under ADP while also clarifying that the challenges faced by the remaining development schemes should be resolved within the next week. While presiding over the review meeting on the progress made so far on the development projects managed by WASA in different areas of Faisalabad under the annual development program, he said that the monsoon season is coming to an end, therefore the work on the ongoing development schemes under the annual development program should be accelerated with full speed, while the schemes which have some challenges in terms of construction work should be solved together with the consultant agency. MD Wasa Sohail Qadir Cheema further said that the consultant agency should closely monitor all the ongoing development schemes and visit the sites of the construction schemes to assess the quality of work, quality of materials and other issues. He further said that WASA Faisalabad is trying to complete the ongoing development schemes under the ADP as per the stipulated time frame so that quality drainage facilities can be provided to the citizens. MD Vasa clarified that the concerned officers should inspect the development schemes as there would be no compromise on transparency of funds, quality of construction materials and approved designs.
