Faisalabad(94 News City Reporter) Managing Director WASA Amir Aziz has formed special teams for operations during the Muharram holidays. 9 And 10 Muharram has been instructed to ensure their attendance.

MD WASA has said that the routes of all the processions and congregations have been cleared during Muharram, while the control room established at the WASA head office is also active, where there are round-the-clock staff who register complaints about sewage, water supply and other complaints and refer them to the relevant field officers. He further said that even during the Muharram holidays, the operations officers and staff will remain diligent and active, while special teams have also been formed in the East and West zones to solve the complaints of operations, which will solve the sewage problems in their respective areas on a priority basis and submit their reports on a daily basis. MD Wasa clarified that drinking water tankers have also been appointed at various places including the central Imambargah, Dhobi Ghat, where pilgrims and citizens will be able to get clean drinking water. He further said that WASA water tankers will remain at their locations till the night of 10th of Muharram.
