He said that all the basic health centers and rural health centers of Faisalabad are being revamped and by March 31, 2025, the revamping of the basic centers and rural health centers of Punjab will be completed. He said that there is an issue of medicine, many places are not given even when available, a group involved in corruption in government medicine has been caught from Faisalabad. He said that there is a deadline of two weeks after which 100% medicines will be provided free of cost in all emergencies. People will not have to wait in hospitals. He said that the Chief Minister is starting the on-well program through which small vans and laboratories will go to doorsteps to provide treatment facilities. Mobile hospitals were brought during the time of Shahbaz Sharif, now they are starting them again. If the government completes five years, people from other provinces will come to Punjab for treatment. Five medical cities are going to be established in Punjab.
Health Minister Khawaja Imran Nazir made a surprise visit to the Government General Hospital Samanabad and took action on the request of two patients suffering from kidney diseases in the dialysis ward to undergo transplant surgery and on the instructions of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, immediately announced the free transplant of the patients in Jinnah Hospital Lahore. The Health Minister ordered his team to take the patient's information and transfer it to Lahore immediately. He went to different departments of the hospital and carefully checked the medical facilities provided to the patients and reprimanded the medical superintendent for some complaints. He ordered the Deputy Commissioner Faisalabad to immediately purchase a laparoscopy machine for the hospital and said that with the purchase of the machine modern surgery facility will be available in the hospital. He also visited Haseeb Shaheed Colony. He directed a departmental inquiry against the absent staff in the dispensary and said that the role of dispensaries is of great importance to provide treatment facilities to the patients at the grassroots level. He visited the patients under treatment in different wards of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan Hospital and while praying for their recovery, urged the medical superintendent to ensure the blackout treatment of the patients. The Deputy Commissioner said that the process of inspection of the hospitals is going on and steps are being taken to solve the problems that have come up regarding the treatment.
