Stakeholders have not been consulted in legislation regarding DPL: Khawaja Asif Siraj

Faisalabad (94 news) In the meeting of Dyes and Chemicals Merchants Association, President Khawaja Asif Siraj in his address highlighted the problems faced by the dyes and chemicals community and said that the previous 66 Serving the textile industry for years. He said that many chemicals have been included in the recent legislation regarding DPL, which was done without consultation with the stakeholders. These chemicals are used exclusively in the textile industry, as a result of which many business problems have arisen and may lead to crisis in the future. Dalaya assured that he would support and patronize the resolution of their problems, especially those related to DPL, and would make concerted efforts at the government level to address their concerns. Yahya Hussain Shah added that he would consult Chairman Senate of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Yousuf Raza Gilani and ensure that he visits Faisalabad after Eid to meet the members of the association. He will also facilitate a meeting between the officials of the association and the relevant Senate committee dealing with DPL to help resolve the issue through the upper house. Chairman Loyal Warriors of Pakistan Major Taseer Ikram Rana, Major Javed Iqbal Khokhar, Group Leader Ayub Saber, Hafiz Nasir Bashir, Mahmood Elahi, Raza Kamal also addressed the meeting. President Khawaja Asif Siraj presented a commemorative shield to Yahya Hussain Shah.
