DA Rao and the Commissioner have nothing to do with the results, Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi

Rawalpindi (94 news) Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi Hasan Waqar Cheema has said that the DRO and the Commissioner have nothing to do with the results.

Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi and District Returning Officer Hasan Waqar Cheema said that the job of Commissioner and DRO is to help in coordination and training before the election. Commissioners and DROs supervise the elections but have no role in the election process, ROs and Election Commissions are directly in touch with the results.
It should be noted that Commissioner Rawalpindi Liaquat Ali Chatta resigned over election irregularities and decided to hand himself over to the police. While giving a press conference at Pindi Cricket Stadium, he said that I have done injustice in Rawalpindi Division, I should be punished for the injustice I have done, others who are involved in it should also be punished.
