Faisalabad (94 News City Reporter) In the light of the special instructions of the Secretary Livestock Punjab, the Livestock and Dairy Development Department Faisalabad Division has completed special arrangements at the livestock markets and sale points established throughout the division in connection with Eid-ul-Azha. Under the supervision of Director Livestock Dr. Haider Ali Khan, special control rooms have been established at the central and district levels in the four districts of Faisalabad, Jhang, Toba Tek Singh and Chiniot, where the veterinary staff in three shifts. 24 providing timely and effective veterinary services to the citizens and livestock keepers. Veterinary dispensaries, tick spray, fly and mosquito control campaign, animal treatment, first aid and safety measures are being ensured by the Livestock Department at cattle markets and sale points across the division. Expert veterinary doctors, veterinary assistants and other field staff are continuously performing duties to monitor the health of the sacrificial animals and prevent diseases. Allavi also temporarily supervises the Tehsil Headquarters Civil Veterinary Hospitals across the division on holidays during Eid-ul-Adha. 24/7 has been activated to provide immediate veterinary facilities and guidance to citizens in any emergency situation. Director Livestock appealed to citizens to buy only healthy, clean and worm-free animals for sacrifice while avoiding sick or weak animals.
