Faisalabad: President Press Club approves a condemnation resolution against Shahid Ali

The failure of the police to arrest the attackers has been termed as criminal negligence and unacceptable

Faisalabad (94 News City Reporter) The press club meeting strongly condemned the attack on President Press Club Faisalabad Shahid Ali and the resolution moved by Senior Vice President GA Tanveer was passed unanimously. In the resolution, the non-arrest of the attackers by the police was declared as criminal negligence and unacceptable. It was said in the resolution that “An attack on one is an attack on all” And the silence of the police after this incident is a cause of concern for the entire journalist community. The participants demanded that the demands of justice be met by arresting the accused immediately. The meeting was presided over by Senior Vice President GA Tanveer, while President Press Club Shahid Ali made a special appearance through video link. Secretary Press Club Syed Azdad Hussain Nikabina informed that the sports complex has been completed in the Press Club, which will be inaugurated very soon. It was further informed that a medical camp will also be organized for the members and their families, where all medical facilities including scanning, ECG and later angiography will be provided. He said that providing better facilities to the journalists is the top priority of the Press Club and further steps in this regard are also under consideration. Senior Deputy GA Tanveer also said that Provincial Information Minister Punjab Uzmi Bukhari has assured that after meeting the Chief Minister of Punjab, he will provide the journalists of Faisalabad. “Journalist Colony” will give the good news, for which the journalist community has been waiting for many years. The meeting was attended by Vice Presidents Zafran Sarwar, Rida Sindhu, Joint Secretary Nadeem Javadani, Executive Members Shahid Mehmood, Arshad Ansari, Afshan Batul, Rana Hina Jameel, Rafat Anwar, Ali Raza, Tawfiq Yusuf, Nader Mann, Dr. Saeed, Tahir Ali Mann, Naeem Shakir and Kamal Butt. At the end, prayers and Fatiha were recited for the well-known personality Gulzeb Malik.
