Academic Council meeting of GC Women University Faisalabad, important decisions were taken

Faisalabad (94 news) The 10th academic council meeting of Government College Women University was held yesterday under the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Zal Huma Nazli. Number of proposed/existing seats for various ADP, BS, BEd in the meeting. (2.5 Year) Fall semester 2024-25 and spring semester 2025 Degree/Programs for, Bachelor of Homeopathic Medical Sciences (BHMS) Adoption of Governor's Secretariat letter regarding commencement of degrees, approval of revised migration rules, Faculties of Boards, Minutes of Boards Adoption of HEC Undergraduate Education Policy and Internship Policy, MPhil and PhD Degrees/Programmes, Minimum Attendance Rules, Admission Policy Standards, Board of Arts and Social Sciences, Nomination of Expert Members of GCWUF, Awards of Posts/Merit Certificates Standards and SOPs were included.

Sara Hayat, Additional Secretary, Higher Education Department, Government of Punjab, Lahore, Dhur Shahwar Director, in the meeting (Curriculum) Higher Education Commission, Islamabad, Prof. Dr. Shaghfat Naz, Pro Vice Chancellor, Lahore College for Women University Lahore, Prof. Dr. Ashfaq Mehmood Qureshi, Vice Chancellor, Govt. Sadiq College Women University Bahawalpur, Prof. Dr. Mazhar Hayat, Ex-Chairperson, Department of English, GCUF, while from Government College Women University, all coordinators, controllers of examinations, chairpersons, librarians directors in charge and Asif A. Malik, registrar attended the meeting. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Zal Huma Nazli welcomed all the members of the Academic Council. Registrar Asif A. Malik as the Secretary of the meeting presented the agenda items in which various agenda items were finalized for approval from the Syndicate. Further, in compliance with the directions of Hon'ble Chancellor, HEC and HED, the relevant agenda items were discussed and approved.
In the end, Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Zal Huma Nazli appreciated the arrangements made by the registrar, principal officers and all the supporting staff for the academic council. Prof. Dr. Ashfaq Mehmood Qureshi, Vice-Chancellor, Government Sadiq College, Women University, Bahawalpur and other external members appreciated Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Zal Huma Nazli for her skills, determination and tireless efforts.
The Vice-Chancellor thanked all the members of the Academic Council, especially the Vice-Chancellors, Academicians, Experts, HEC and HED representatives for guiding the academic and research development of GCWUF.
