India offered citizenship to Pervez Musharraf

New Delhi (94 news) India's ruling party BJP leader Subramanian Swamy has offered to grant Indian citizenship to former President Pervez Musharraf.
In one of his tweets, Subramanian Swamy said that his government can grant Indian citizenship to Musharraf immediately because he belongs to Daryaganj and he is facing injustice in Pakistan. He further said that in the new citizenship bill, citizenship of India will be given to all those people who call themselves descendants of Hindus.

A user named Makhdoom Athar said on Subramanian Swamy's tweet that Musharraf is Syed who belongs to Arabia and his ancestors. 1400 Have been Muslim for years so keep your suggestion to yourself.
Responding to Makhdoom Athar, Subramanian Swamy referred to former Indian diplomat and politician Syed Shahabuddin and said that he was also a Syed but always said that his ancestors were Hindus, same is the case with former Kashmir Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah. The truth can be ascertained only by DNA test.
