MD Wasa arrived in the field with staff in the storm rain

Visited Sea Road, Minerva Club Road, Koh Noor Chowk, Susan Road Madina Town, directed the WASA staff to complete drainage soon.

Faisalabad (94 News City Reporter) Vasa Managing Director Sohail Qadir Cheema reached the field to review the measures for immediate drainage of rainwater since morning. He visited other areas including Sea Road, Minerva Club Road, Koh Noor Chowk, Susan Road Madina Town and directed the WASA officers and staff present there to complete the drainage soon. On this occasion, he emphasized that the main roads should be cleared of rainwater soon by using all the dewatering sets and other machinery. MD Vasa clarified that till the complete drainage of the rains the field staff are seen working, no laxity will be acceptable. He further said that all the resources are being utilized for immediate release of rain water to the citizens, giving relief to the people is the top priority. MD Vasa directed the Operations Directors to supervise the field staff and visit the field continuously so that there is no delay in drainage. On the instructions of Managing Director WASA, the high alert operations staff cleared Sargodha Road Lathani Pally, GTS Chowk, Abdullahpur Chowk, Medina Town, Sheikhupura Road, Nadwala Road and other main roads and intersections from rainwater at short intervals.
