Faisalabad (94 News City Reporter) According to the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, RPO Sohail Akhtar Sukhira organized an open court in the Regional Police Office Faisalabad in relation to the provision of immediate and impartial justice to the citizens. Where citizens presented their problems and requests directly.

The RPO heard the position of all the petitioners in detail and issued urgent orders on 72 petitions on the spot while sending the rest of the petitions to the concerned officers for further inquiry and directed them to submit reports in due time.
On this occasion, RPO Sohail Akhtar Sukhira said that provision of immediate justice to the citizens, protection of their lives and property and timely action are the top priorities of the police. He clarified that ill-treatment of citizens, unnecessary delay in registration of cases and neglect of duty will not be tolerated in any case and strict implementation of zero tolerance policy is being ensured in this regard. Additional RPO Faisalabad directed the concerned officers to investigate the cases on full transparency and merit, not to take any kind of pressure or influence into account, and submit reports on all applications within the prescribed period of completion of processing as per law.
He said that the main objective of open courts is to provide speedy, transparent and effective justice to the common citizens, especially the deprived and vulnerable sections, at their doorsteps and to strengthen public confidence in the police.
