Director General FDA Muhammad Asif Chaudhry performed office affairs wearing shalwar kameez, waistcoat and Punjabi identity turban and talking to the visitors said that love and mutual respect., Peacefulness, humanitarianism, high moral values, and warmth in harmony are the basis of Punjabi culture under which the way of life gets its unique identity. He said that it is very important to make the future generations aware of their civilization and culture because only nations connected with their culture survive in history. He said that culture includes knowledge and art, customs, beliefs, habits, abilities, food, manners and clothes, festivals and other such factors. He said that the culture of Punjab is the oldest culture which covers traditional clothes, sports, cultural food of different types, festivals, religious traditions, marriage rituals, fairs and many other traditions which keep the element of liveliness alive. He said that in order to celebrate the Punjab Culture Day, FDA has collaborated with the district administration and Faisalabad Arts Council, in which Punjabi cultural handicrafts, cultural heritage and other products have been exhibited in addition to organizing comedy shows at Bagh Jinnah.
