Lahore (94 news) The Punjab government has banned the use of mobile phones by children in all public and private schools across the province. The ban will apply to all schools, the Department of School Education Punjab has issued instructions to the heads of all education authorities.

According to the details, the letter said that the ban on the use of mobile phones in schools should be implemented immediately and students should be encouraged to participate in co-curricular activities.

Heads of educational institutions were asked to ensure the participation of students in personality building activities, this post has been issued in the light of the resolution passed in the Punjab Assembly.
