Organized Independence Day celebration, cake cutting and planting ceremony in Borstal Jail organized by Prisoners Welfare Society.


Faisalabad(94 News City Reporter) A celebration of independence was held in Borstal Jail under the auspices of the Prisoners Welfare Society. The ceremony was presided over by President of Prisoners Welfare Society Muhammad Aslam Dhedi while Superintendent Jail Malik Muhammad Asif attended as a special guest. Apart from Shaukat and Nazia Mohsin, the prison authorities and the children of the prisoners also participated. On this occasion, the children presented songs, food and gifts were given to all the children by the Prisoners Welfare Society, and all the members cut the Independence Day cake together with the children, which caused a wave of happiness among the children. Addressing the children, Dr. Mohsin Nadeem said that Independence Day is a day to remember the sacrifices of our elders, Happy Independence to all of us, Senior Vice President Mian Nadeem Ahmed said during the address that you should forget your past and worry about the future. The future is bright for you, the goals of life can be achieved through hard work, today is the day of renewal of the pledge that how should you lead this country on the path of development, Madam Sophia Rizwan said that Pakistan is the result of the hard work of Quaid-e-Azam and his comrades, that today we are free, our elders and elders have paid a great price for this freedom, today we need to protect this country, play our full role in its construction and development, President Muhammad Aslam Dhedi and Superintendent Malik Muhammad Asif also said in their address that the youth are our future, and we have a lot of hope from you. If there is any mistake in life, it will be corrected, but now you have to think about how to improve your life. I also started plantation drive by planting saplings, during plantation the children were given the responsibility of taking care and protecting the plants which the children happily accepted. At the end, prayers were also prayed for national security and peace.
