Deputy Commissioner Abdullah Nair Sheikh inaugurated the two-day health screening camp at Faisalabad Press Club

Faisalabad(From Mian Nadeem) Deputy Commissioner Abdullah Nayar Shaikh inaugurated the two-day health screening camp for members of the press club and their families at Faisalabad Press Club. Vice Chancellor Faisalabad Medical University Professor Dr. Zafar Ali Chaudhry, CEO Health Dr. Asfandiar, District Health Officer Dr. Azmat Abbas were also with him. Group Leader Faisalabad Press Club Shahid Ali, President Press Club Abdul Rahman, Secretary Kashif Fareed, Senior Vice President Shaukat Vito, Vice President Mian Manwar Iqbal, Former Secretary Izadar Hussain and other members of the club were also present on this occasion. President Press Club Abdul Rahman briefed the guests about the aims and objectives of organizing the Health Screening Camp and the performance of the Press Club. The Deputy Commissioner went to the registration and other counters to observe the health screening process and appreciated the free diagnostic facilities for journalists. Medical facilities are available to stay healthy and active. The Deputy Commissioner also visited various departments of the Press Club. Secretary Press Club Kashif Farid said that the welfare of the members and their health protection is the first priority and the establishment of the screening camp under the auspices of the health authority is the result of these efforts. He said that various diagnostic tests including hepatitis are being conducted for the members and their families. Group leader Shahid Ali said that Press Club is a home for journalists and all possible measures are taken for their welfare. The government institutions should also continue to take measures for the welfare of journalists so that the journalist community continues to perform their duties well by using their professional skills. Shahid Ali thanked all the guests.
