Faisalabad (94 news) Faisalabad NGOs Network and Construction Welfare Organization organized a seminar on running metro bus service in Faisalabad. Well-known social and political personalities of Faisalabad participated in the seminar.
Addressing the seminar, Director TEPA, Chairman Faisalabad NGOs Network Mian Nadeem Ahmed, Yusuf Adnan, Dr. Mubasher Bajwa City Traffic Police, Chaudhry Talat Mehmood Advocate, Muhammad Salim Chaudhry, Saleem Bulandia, Shahid Anwar Advocate, Romana Social Welfare Officer. And Rubina Mirza said that Faisalabad is the third largest city of Pakistan and the city with the highest revenue, but despite this, the city is deprived of public transport, due to which people are forced to use the most expensive transport, thousands of rupees per month. Along with this inflation, the pollution and congestion in the city is also the reason that there is no public transport.

Millions of children going to schools, colleges and universities are forced to use motorbikes, private vehicles, rickshaws and expensive transport, hour-long traffic jams and accidents have become the norm.
The speakers said that people with disabilities should also be provided with adequate public transport. And the only solution is to start meter bus service in Faisalabad.
