Refrain from hoarding otherwise action will be taken, Deputy Commissioner


Faisalabad(94 news) The price control committee meeting was held in the DC office under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Ali Shahzad. Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue Fazal Rabi Cheema, Extra Assistant Director of Agriculture Muhammad Usman, DO Industries Shahbaz Ahmed and other officers were also present, along with representatives of business organizations and consumers.
Welcoming the ever-valuable cooperation of the traders, the Deputy Commissioner said that the earlier glorious traditions should be maintained by providing maximum relief to the consumers. He said that the availability of quality commodities to the consumers at controlled prices is a major challenge which has to be overcome by joint efforts.
He said that hoarding should be stopped so that action does not take place. He told the traders that they are part of the team of the district administration which is also fighting the corona virus. He said that the price control magistrates have been urged to conduct regular inspections of the markets and bazaars which are being intensified so that the shopkeepers should continue to cooperate. In this context, the negative trend of unjustified increase in prices will be discouraged, so the shopkeepers will charge the fixed prices from the customers. During the meeting, the representatives of the business organizations assured their full cooperation.
