Faisalabad (94 news) RP of Faisalabad Dr. Muhammad Abid Khan and Commissioner Faisalabad Salut Saeed visited District Jhang regarding Muharram. DPO Ojhang and DC Jhang briefed Commissioner Faisalabad and RPO Faisalabad.
On this occasion, RPO Faisalabad Dr. Muhammad Abid Khan expressed his views and said that a comprehensive security plan should be prepared for all sensitive processions. Cleaning and sweeping of the roots should be done before the departure of the procession. Encroachments should be removed. Adequate number of personnel should be deployed, checking with walk-through gates and metal detectors should be carried out and police personnel and officers should remain active and alert until the processions disperse.

The RPO along with the Commissioner also visited the routes of the processions. The RPO issued instructions and said that rooftop duty should be ensured. The processions should be conducted at multiple times and on moderate routes so that the participants and mourners can perform their prayers in a peaceful atmosphere. Legal action should be taken against the violators. Proper lighting arrangements should be made in night processions. Emergency Services Rescue 1122, Fire Brigade, Bomb Disposal Squad should be kept ready at all times. All police officers related to the procession should be in touch to ensure peace and order through better coordination. Moreover, supervisory police officers should periodically check the duty, brief and inform about the sensitivity and importance of the duty.
