Under Govt Pascoe 1.8 Ready to buy million metric tons of wheat
Islam Abad (94 news) Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif chaired an important meeting regarding the wheat scandal. Govt under PASCO 1.8 ملین میٹرک ٹن گندم خریدنے پر رضامندی ظاہر کردی۔ وزیرِ اعظم نے وزارت قومی غذائی تحفظ کی کمیٹی قائم کردی، کمیٹی چار روز میں کسانوں کے تحفظات دور کرنے کیلئے اقدامات کرے گی۔
Federal Minister for Information Ataullah Tarar, Federal Minister Rana Tanveer MD Pasco Imad Nazir Ahmed and Secretary Food Moazzam Iqbal also participated in the meeting. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also took notice of the obstacles in the purchase of wheat and the difficulties faced by the farmers in obtaining bar grain. He said that why farmers are facing difficulties in obtaining bar grain?
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that by the grace of Allah, there has been a bumper crop of wheat this year:Farmers will be compensated for their labor in time, no compromise will be accepted on the economic security of farmers.
In the meeting, the Prime Minister directed the officers to purchase wheat and go to the spot to monitor the situation and said that the federal government under PASCO. 1.8 Million metric tons of wheat is going to be purchased.
Shahbaz Sharif has established a committee of the Ministry of National Food Security, the committee will take steps to address the concerns of farmers in four days.
