Study visit to FDA complex by officers undergoing senior midcareer training course at NEPA

Faisalabad (94 News City Reporter) National Institute of Public Administration (-Napa) Participants of senior midcareer training course in Peshawar for officers belonging to various services 22 The member group conducted a study tour of the FDA complex and attended a briefing session. The group was led by faculty members Shabirullah Nazir and Dr Riaz. Director General FDA Muhammad Asif Chaudhry welcomed the officers and briefed them in detail about FDA's organizational structure, jurisdiction, legal framework, rules, policy, performance in urban development, innovative initiatives under new trends and some proposed development projects. Additional Director General FDA Yasir Ijaz Chatta, PSO Shabir Sajid and other officers were also present on this occasion. The director said that the latest steps have been taken to increase the quality of FDA services, under which records are being digitized and smart cards are being issued to property owners, while steps have been taken to issue e-challans and ownership certificates and other NOCs under this system, and it has been possible to increase FDA's income by surveying commercial roads through digitization. He said that helpline 1237 has been provided to inform the citizens about the services of FDA. He said that Faisalabad Bus Rapid Transit is under the special measures of Punjab Government (BRT )کے منصوبے کی ابتدائی پلاننگ کے لئے سروے مکمل کر لیا گیا ہے جوکہ ایشین ڈویلپمنٹ بنک اورحکومت پنجاب کے شتراک سے پایہ تکمیل کو پہنچے گا۔ انہوں نے کہاکہ شہری ترقی کی بنیاد مستحکم بنانے کیلئے نشاط آباد پل سے گٹ والا تک دو رویہ شیخوپورہ روڈ کی کشادگی و بحالی جھال پور فلائی اوور کو ستیانہ روڈ پر سلیمی چوک تک توسیع دینے ، ستیانہ روڈ، جڑانوالہ روڈ سے شیخوپورہ روڈ تک منی بائی پاس کی تعمیرو بحالی کے منصوبے تجویز کئے گئے ہیں ۔ ڈی جی ایف ڈی اے نے فیصل آباد ماسٹر پلان کے نمایاں پہلوئوں کے بارے میں بھی بتایا اور کہا کہ شہری خوبصورتی کے منصوبوں میں ضلعی انتظامیہ ودیگر اداروں کے ساتھ اشتراک عمل جاری ہے اس سلسلے میں نشاط آباد پل اور جھال پل کے بعض زیریں حصوں کی تزئین وآرائش کرکے وہاں اوپن جم، سنوکر کلب اور دیگر تفریحی سہولیات فراہم کی گئی ہیں۔انہوں نے بتایاکہ سترہ رہائشی کالونیوں اور سولہ کمرشل مارکیٹس ایف ڈی اے کے زیر کنٹرول ہیں جبکہ 111کچی آبادیوں اور مختلف علاقوں میں فلیٹس کا انتظام و انصرام بھی اسی ادارہ کے ذمہ ہے۔ ڈی جی نے بتایا کہ غیرقانونی اور نادھندہ ہائوسنگ سکیموں کیخلاف جارحانہ آپریشن شروع کیا گیا ہے جس کے تحت اس سال میں اب تک 123غیرقانونی ہاؤسنگ سکیموں کے تعمیراتی ڈھانچوں کو مسمار اور نو افراد کے خلاف مقدمات درج کرائے گئے ہیں۔ افسران کے مختلف سوالوں کا جواب دیتے ہوئے ڈی جی ایف ڈی اے نے بتایا کہ شہرمیں پینے کے پانی کے میگا پراجیکٹ مکمل کرنے کے علاوہ سینیٹیشن کے حوالے سے متعدد منصوبوں پر کام جاری ہے اور ٹائون پلاننگ کو منظم اور جدید خطوط پر استوار کرنے کیلئے اقدامات کے علاوہ ماحولیاتی تحفظ کے منصوبوں میں معاونت جاری ہے۔ فیکلٹی ممبرز اورافسران نے عمدہ میزبانی کرنے اور اربن ڈویلپمنٹ کے حوالے سے مفید بریفنگ پر ڈی جی ایف ڈی اے کا شکریہ ادا کیا۔ اس موقع پر ڈائریکٹر جنرل ایف ڈی اے اور فیکلٹی ممبرز میں یادگاری شیلڈز کا تبادلہ بھی ہوا۔
