The day started with prayers for victory and victory of Hurriyat supporters for the freedom of Occupied Kashmir and recitation of Quran for the souls of Kashmiri martyrs in the mosques. Organized by the divisional administration, various programs were arranged on the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day. Speaking competitions and seminars were organized in educational institutions on the subject of Kashmir's independence. Meanwhile, the Kashmir Solidarity Day Seminar was held at the Municipal Corporation Hall organized by the district administration. Deputy Commissioner Capt.(T)Nadeem Nasir was the chief guest on this occasion. Acting CPO Abdul Wahab, Member Provincial Assembly Qudsia Batul, Muslim League leader Haji Muhammad Akram Ansari, Mehr Hamid Rasheed, Additional Commissioner Coordination Amir Raza, Additional Deputy Commissioner General Dr. Shahab Aslam, CTO Farhan Aslam, CO Waste Management Company Rauf Ahmed, CO Education Waqar Ahmed, Admin Officer Riaz Hussain Anjum and other officers of the district administration, Talib. Knowledge, teachers and people from various fields participated in large numbers. During the seminar, students gave influential speeches in favor of Kashmiris while college students presented national songs. Flags of Pakistan and Occupied Kashmir were hoisted in the municipal corporation and a large rally was taken out. The Deputy Commissioner while speaking to the participants of the rally said that the Pakistani nation reiterates its moral and diplomatic support to the people of Occupied Kashmir. He said that the international community and human rights organizations should play their effective role to stop the worst atrocities of Indian forces. The participants strongly condemned the Indian aggression in Occupied Kashmir and said that India cannot suppress the freedom movement of Kashmiris with such negative tactics. We are all with Pakistani Kashmiris. He said that despite Indian persecution, the yearning for freedom has increased among Kashmiris and the sun of Kashmir's freedom will rise soon.
