Fesco staff foiled theft worth millions of rupees


Faisalabad (94 news) The staff of Fescosub Division Rajana foiled the theft of conductors worth lakhs of rupees.
According to the details, the Fesco sub-division Rajana office received the information of power cut on the Islampura feeder by telephone from the customer, on which Lineman Muhammad Shafiq Khan and assistant line Mudassar Habib on night duty checked with the concerned grid station and found that there was no tripping anywhere on the Islampura feeder. On which Axion Toba Tech Singh Faisal Raza Marth directed the staff of sub-division Rajana to patrol the immediate feeder. During the patrolling, when the staff approached the forest from the highway side, about 15 people had cut and collected the Osprey conductors from the 9 poles of the Islampura feeder passing near the forest. When the Fesco staff reached the spot, the conductor thieves fled the spot leaving behind a number of bamboo ladders and a rope. On the information of the Fesco staff, Axion Toba Faisal Raza Marth, SDO Rajana and more Fesco officials also reached the spot immediately. Due to the timely action and patrolling of the Fesco staff, the conductor worth millions of rupees was saved from being stolen, while the Fesco staff also restored the power supply from the feeder.
