Faisalabad(94 news) In collaboration with the district administration and the Child Protection Bureau, a colorful function was organized in connection with International Children's Day at Parveen Shaker Auditorium Ladies Park. Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ali was the chief guest on the occasion while Additional Deputy Commissioner(Finance)Asma Ejaz Cheema attended the function as the guest of honour. Additional District and Sessions Judge/Presiding Officer Child Protection Court Zafar Iqbal Tarr, District Incharge Ejaz Aslam Dogar, Social Leader Jafar Hassan Mubarak, In-charge Girls Guide Amina Ehsan, Rubina Iqbal Cheema, Alfat Abbas, Psychologist Ramzan Ahmed, Legal Officer Adil Gondal, Amina Nader, Farhat Jabin, Farrukh of Family Planning Association. Basheer, Education Unicef Sahar Raza Jafari, DO Literacy Naveedul Haque Butt, students of various schools including Child Protection Bureau and SOS Village, representatives of civil society and NGOs were present on this occasion. During the ceremony, children of Child Protection Bureau and other institutions and schools presented tableaus and national songs in which children's rights, needs, protection, provision of sports and recreational facilities from social evils and issues. The preventive measures were highlighted. Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ali expressed his views and said that children are our future, whose education, training, protection and payment of rights is the joint responsibility of the society so that the foundation of a civilized and conscious nation can be strengthened.(Finance)Asma Ejaz Cheema said that children will not feel deprived. In this regard, Child Protection Bureau, SOS Village, Nighaban Center and other welfare organizations working for the welfare of children will be fully patronized. Child Protection Bureau Ijaz Aslam Dogar said that strong measures are being taken to protect children from labour, abuse and other social problems, while all institutions are working together for the rehabilitation and welfare of destitute and abandoned children.
