Celebration of Independence, Cake was cut and sweets were distributed among the children

Faisalabad(94 News City Reporter) In connection with the Independence Day, a special program was organized for the imprisoned children in Borstal Institute Faisalabad. Which was organized with the support of Assistant Director SERC Project Social Welfare Sofia Rizwan and members of Faisalabad Times Digital Magazine. The program started with the recitation of the Holy Quran and Naat-i-Rasul-i-Maqbool (peace be upon him), after which the children of the Borstal Institute added to the joy of the Independence Day by presenting national songs. A cake was cut in the ceremony and sweets were distributed among the jail staff including the children. Jail Superintendent Asif Azim, Member Prisoner Welfare Society Borstal Institute Samina and Usman were also present on the occasion. The participants termed this program as a welcome and encouraging initiative for the children.
