WASA Anti -Dengue Campaign Lectures To Students at Madrasa Zia -ul -Quran

Faisalabad (94 News City Reporter) Under the direction of Managing Director Vasa Sohail Qadir Cheema, CLC staff visited Madrasa Zia Al-Quran C Block Model Town as part of the anti-dengue campaign and gave an awareness lecture to the students studying there about prevention of dengue mosquitoes and distributed pamphlets. In this regard, MD Vasa Sohail Qadir Cheema said that the rainy season is very suitable for the breeding of dengue mosquitoes, therefore promoting anti-dengue activities in this season is the need of the hour. The dengue mosquito causes a dangerous and contagious disease and precautions must be taken to prevent it. He further said that WASA Faisalabad is taking special measures to create public awareness about the dengue mosquito that causes the dangerous disease and the Citizen Liaison Cell department is contacting Madrasahs, educational institutions, communities and citizens to inform them about dengue prevention methods, which is a good step forward. MD Vasa clarified that implementation of the Anti-Dengue SOPs issued by the Punjab Government is a top priority and lapses in this regard are unacceptable.
