Early life and education. Farooq Qaiser 31 Oct 1945 was born in a Muslim family in Sialkot, Punjab. He spent his early childhood in Peshawar and Kohat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. 1970 I, he National College of Arts (NCA) Received Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Arts from Lahore. Professional Era.Kaiser's Career Begins 1970 After graduating from the National College of Arts, Lahore in the early 1990s, he made a short documentary in English. 1971 His teacher Salima Hashmi cast him in her children's television puppet show Akar Bakar. In this show, he worked on the script and puppets with Shoaib Hashmi, Maneza Hashmi and Faiz Ahmed Faiz. The show was intended to be the Pakistan version of the American entertainment and educational show Sesame Street. His first assignment on the show was to create a local version of Big Bird, after which he created many other characters for the program.
