Close to Eid-ul-Fitr, office sale of private bus service on excess fare collection
Islam Abad (94 news) عیدالفطر قریب آتے ہی ٹرانسپورٹرز نے کرایوں میں اضافہ کردیا۔ جس سے مسافروں کو شدید مشکلات کا سامنا کرنا پڑرہاہے۔ شکایت پر ڈی سی اسلام آباد نے نجی بس سروس کا دفتر سیل کردیا گیا۔
According to the details, Deputy Commissioner Islamabad Irfan Nawaz Memon along with Transport Authority team visited various bus stands. ADC General Abdullah Mehmood, Assistant Commissioners Uzair Ali Khan and Farwa Batul were also accompanied during the visit.
DC Irfan Nawaz Memon also inquired about fares from various passengers, on which the passengers complained of extra fares. On the complaint, the office of the private bus service was sealed by the DC. Irfan Nawaz Memon said in his speech on this occasion that there is a policy of zero tolerance on fare increase and overloading on Eid-ul-Fitr, immediate action is being taken on the complaints of excessive fare. He further said that the teams of the district administration and Islamabad Transport Authority are always present at the bus stations, citizens should complain about excessive fare, immediate action will be taken.
