Chief Minister Punjab Nawaz Sharif is focusing on the best drainage services across Punjab: Sultan Bajwa

Faisalabad (94 news) Provincial Parliamentary Secretary for Housing, Urban Development and Public Health Engineering Barrister Sultan Bajwa has said that Vasa Faisalabad has completed all arrangements for providing quality drainage services during the rainy season, all machinery is functional while alternative arrangements for electricity have also been made at the disposal station. Talking to the media representatives at WASA Head Office along with Managing Director WASA Amir Aziz, he said that Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif is focused on the best drainage services throughout Punjab including Faisalabad and under a comprehensive and effective plan, WASA Faisalabad has made a lot of improvement in terms of delivery of drainage and water supply services during the last one year and currently WASA Faisalabad is at the top in terms of performance among all WASAS across Punjab. The Provincial Parliamentary Secretary further said that the de-silting of drainage channels and sewage lines has been completed in connection with the preparation of the Monsoon Plan, while at the same time the Central Control 15 It will be operational from June while inspection of all the machinery is also being done and the citizens will not have to face any problem regarding drainage during the monsoon season. Earlier, while giving a briefing, Vasa Managing Director Amir Aziz said that Vasa 225 Kilometers area providing sewerage services while total length of sewerage lines 2110 km which de-silting is being completed and four new disposal stations have been constructed at Chakira, Golestan Colony, Dijkot and P.S. 42 are included, the operationalization of which will provide a lot of relief to the adjacent population in terms of sewage disposal. He gave a detailed briefing on the overall performance of WASA Faisalabad, sewerage, water supply, revenue recovery, foreign funded projects, schemes under the annual development program and other issues, which was appreciated by Provincial Parliamentary Secretary Barrister Sultan Bajwa. DMD Services Ikramullah Chaudhry gave a briefing on monsoon season preparations, functionality of machinery and vehicles and other issues.
