All indicators of Clean Green Pakistan Index will be reviewed every fortnight, Mian Aftab

Faisalabad(94 news)On the instructions of the Punjab Government, a meeting was held in the DC office in connection with the implementation of the Clean Green Pakistan Index in the district and setting up a work plan, which was presided over by Additional Deputy Commissioner General Mian Aftab Ahmed.

DGPHA Asif Chaudhry, Additional DGFDA Aamir Aziz, CEO Waste Management Company Kashif Raza Awan, CEOs Health and Education Dr. Mushtaq Supra, Ali Ahmed Sayan, Chief Officer Municipal Corporation Sardar Naseer Ahmad, Deputy Director Colleges Imdadullah Chaudhry, Forest and District Council and other departments were present. During the meeting, the progress made so far on the Plant for Pakistan campaign and other measures related to environmental protection were reviewed. The president said that according to the government's instructions, under the Clean and Green Pakistan Index project, greenness and sanitation, water supply and drainage, waste management, sanitation, parks and trees will be classified by making standards. He said that according to all the indicators of Clean Green Pakistan Index, the performance of the departments will be reviewed every fortnight based on the evaluation method so that there is no difficulty in achieving the desired goals in relation to the Clean Green Pakistan Index.
