Deputy Commissioner Captain's visit to District Jail Faisalabad, Meeting on Health Facilities in District, Board and Central Jail

Faisalabad(94 News City Reporter) Deputy Commissioner Capt (T) Nadeem Nasir visited District Jail Faisalabad and presided over an important meeting regarding the health and welfare of prisoners. Superintendents of District Jail, Borstal Jail and Central Jail, CEO Health Dr. Shahbaz and other relevant officers and doctors participated in the meeting. In the meeting, decisions were taken to ensure uninterrupted supply of medicines to the prisoners, regular medical screening of the prisoners and to immediately fill the shortage of doctors in the prisons. The Deputy Commissioner directed that medical screening camps should be organized in the jails every month so that the health problems of the inmates can be solved in time. Deputy Commissioner Capt (T) Nadeem Nasir inspected various barracks of the jail and also inspected the new building for women prisoners. On this occasion, he observed the ongoing activities for the technical training of the prisoners and participated in the cooking classes of the prisoners where he also tasted the food prepared by the prisoners. The Deputy Commissioner, while reviewing the sanitation arrangements in the jail, directed to take more measures for the welfare of the prisoners and said that the government will continue all possible measures to provide basic facilities and skills to the prisoners.
