Addiction paralyzes human life, Rabia Khalid


Faisalabad(94 news ) Organized by Anjuman Anti-Narcotics District Headquarters Hospital, a seminar was held at Government Crescent Model Higher Secondary School Sheikhupura Road to raise awareness about the harms of drug addiction. Medical Social Officer Rabia Khalid was the chief guest. General Secretary Anjuman Anti-Narcotics Anwar Khan, Clinical Psychologist DHQ Ghulam Mustafa Niazi, Teacher Salim Akhtar and other teachers were also present.
The Medical Social Officer expressed that addiction is the root of all evils which paralyzes human life and it is very important to avoid it. He asked the students to participate in sports as much as possible which keeps them away from other social evils. He appreciated the continuous organization of anti-drug seminars in educational institutions organized by Anjuman Anti-Drugs and said that such measures help in keeping the young generation away from drugs. Educated the students about the types of addiction, its harmful effects on human health, its prevention and precautions. He said that steps are underway to rehabilitate drug addicts at the District Headquarters Hospital. Presenting the performance of Anjuman Anti-Narcotics Association, the General Secretary said that all sections should play a role to arouse hatred against drugs in the society. He said that under the direction of Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ali, anti-narcotics seminars are being conducted regularly, the scope of which is also being expanded.
