Commissioner lays foundation stone of Divisional Public School/College in FDA City

Faisalabad (94 news) The foundation stone has been laid for the construction of a two-storied modern air-conditioned building for the establishment of a divisional public school/college campus in FDA City, for the completion of which more than twenty crores of funds will be spent. This beautiful building with an area of ​​eight kanals will be completed under the supervision of the engineering department of FDA for which the construction work has been started after completing the e-tendering process in a transparent manner.

Commissioner Faisalabad Salwat Saeed unveiled the inaugural plaque of the DPS campus building on the occasion of the historic and memorable day of Independence Day and laid the foundation stone by laying a brick. Director General FDA Muhammad Asif Chaudhry was also with the Commissioner. While Chief Engineer FDA Mehrayub gave a briefing about the specifications of the building and the progress of the implementation of the project. Additional Commissioner Coordination Maswar Khan Niazi, Additional Commissioner Asif Hayat, Assistant Commissioner General Dr. Abid Syal, Director Finance FDA Yasir Ijaz Chatta and other officers were present on the occasion. Commissioner Salut Saeed congratulated all the officers including FDA on the start of the construction of the latest building and said that the divisional administration is trying to promote quality and purposeful education at an affordable cost. For this purpose, public schools are being established in different areas. He said that in the future this campus will be further expanded to bring it to college level so that students can get higher education opportunities at one place. The commissioner said that the establishment of this campus will fulfill the main objectives of the divisional administration in terms of educational development and providing quality educational facilities to the children of the nearby residential colonies at their doorstep. He directed to fully monitor the construction stages of the building and ensure completion within the stipulated period and said that the high construction quality of the project should be exemplary and an architectural masterpiece. During the briefing, the commissioner was told that the building ground and first floors of this campus have a total of fourteen classrooms, four modern IT labs, two common rooms, a multi-purpose hall, a conference room, a store room, a dispensary, and a day care center.,30 It will consist of washrooms and pleasant lawns. Director General FDA Muhammad Asif Chaudhry thanked Commissioner Salwat Saeed for laying the foundation stone on the historic occasion of Independence Day and said that this memorable moment will be an important part of the history of this magnificent building. He assured that he will try to complete the construction before the stipulated period while fulfilling the confidence of the divisional administration regarding the quality of construction so that this beautiful building can be available for educational activities soon. He said that the establishment of DPS campus will be a milestone in the further development of FDA City, thanks to which the splendor of this residential scheme will increase.
