Faisalabad (94 News Mian Nadeem Ahmed) Deputy Commissioner Capt (T) Nadeem Nasir chaired 215 An important meeting was held regarding the development of sewerage network in Nethri and its surroundings, in which the permanent solution to the sewage problems faced by the citizens and the progress on the ongoing development projects were reviewed in detail. Muslim League Leader Mian Qasim Farooq, Assistant Commissioner President, Managing Director WASA, Chairman Kisan Council, Chairman Zakat Committee and other relevant officers participated in the meeting. The Deputy Commissioner directed that the animal enclosures should be shifted immediately so that there is no obstacle in the completion of the sewage project. He said that the completion of this project will provide a clean environment to the citizens and by improving the drainage system, there will be a clear improvement in their daily life. He further said that the Nethri Sewerage Development Project will play a key role in eradicating the long-standing problems of drainage. The Deputy Commissioner said that funds worth billions of rupees have been released by the Punjab government for this mega project and the work will be completed on a speedy basis. He issued clear instructions and said that any delay in the installation of sewage lines will not be tolerated.
