Faisalabad(94 News City Reporter) )Under the direction of Director General FDA Muhammad Asif Chaudhry, a vigorous operation is underway against illegal housing schemes and illegal constructions. In this regard, the enforcement team of FDA took action and demolished the illegal constructions of the three housing schemes in different areas of Dijkot and Samari Road, while sealing the respective offices and gates, including two illegal additional settlements. According to the details, the FDA enforcement team consisting of Assistant Director Town Planning Mohammad Yawar, Enforcement Inspector Aslam Gujjar and other related staff under the supervision of Director Town Planning to Asma Mohsin checked check no. 263 Action was taken against two additional illegal settlements established on the land of Dujkot. The team demolished the illegal structures there using heavy machinery while the entrance gate was also sealed. Similarly, in the Gulshan Haram housing scheme near Nyamoana on Marine Road, shops constructed there were demolished with heavy machinery while taking action against the unauthorized conversion of residential plots to commercial use. The FDA team made it clear that unauthorized commercial activities in residential areas and violation of approved maps and land uses will not be tolerated. The FDA administration has warned the developers and concerned persons to refrain from violating the law, strictly comply with the approved plan and relevant rules and regulations, otherwise the strictest legal action will be taken against them without discrimination. Citizens have also been informed by the FDA that before buying a plot or investing in any housing scheme, they must verify its legal status, approval and other relevant records so that they can be protected from investing in illegal housing schemes and illegal constructions.
