India beat Australia in the first T20
Canberra(94 news) India defeated Australia by 11 runs in the first match of the three-match T20I series.
India had given Australia a target of 162 runs to win. The Australian team could score 150 runs in the allotted 20 overs. On behalf of Australia, captain Aaron Finch scored 35 runs, Dicey Short scored 34 runs. Fast bowler Narjan and spinner Chahal, who played the first T20 from India, dismissed 3, 3 players.
Earlier, India scored 161 runs while batting first, Rahul scored 51 runs for India while Ravindra Jadeja scored 44 runs.
On behalf of Australia, Henry Kiss took 3 wickets while Mitchell Starc dismissed 2 players. Indian spinner Chahal was declared the best player of the match. The second T20 match between the two teams will be played on December 6 in Sydney.
