Provincial Minister for Education Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan has said that EDOs Education are the real leaders of educational campaign in every district. He said that they should constitute councils to ensure self-accountability in schools with the cooperation of teachers, students, parents and representatives of influential persons of the areas. He said that education EDOs Education failing to improve their performance have no right to stay on his post.
He expressed these views while addressing conference of EDOs Education hailing from all over the province at Department of Staff Development, today.

Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan said that besides constitution of councils in schools, EDOs will also have to ensure data reporting. He said that responsibility of increase in enrollment and target of bringing dropout rate of children from schools to zero percent also lies on EDOs. He announced that performance of EDOs will be monitored on weekly basis through video link and will be taken into loop with regard to Chief Minister’s Education Roadmap. He stressed upon EDOs to ensure presence in their offices and involve teachers in educational system.
