As many as 10077 laptops were distributed among talented students of different educational institutions and Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education (BISE) Faisalabad in 4th phase of CM Punjab Laptop Scheme.
In this connection, an impressive ceremony was held on Wednesday at Iqbal Auditorium of University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) where Punjab Minister for Schools Education Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan and Punjab Minister for Higher Education Syed Raza Ali were the chief guests.
Deputy Commissioner Salman Ghani, Agriculture University, GC University and GC Women University Vice Chancellors Prof. Dr. Iqbal Zafar, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali Shah and Prof.. Dr. Noureen Aziz Qureshi, MPAs Haji Ilyas Ansari, Hajji Khalid Saeed, Mayor MCF Muhammad Razzaq Malik, Chairman District Council Ch. Zahid Nazir, Additional Secretary Higher Education Tanvir Jabbar, Secretary Board of Education Khurram Shehzad Qureshi, Director Colleges Chaudhry Imdadullah and other officers of education department and district administration were present on the occasion while a large number of students participated in the ceremony.
In beginning of the ceremony, the guard of honour was presented to the talented students by the active contingent of police while students of various schools presented national songs during the ceremony.
