In another blow to PIA passengers, excess baggage charges have been doubled compared to private airlines.

Islam Abad (94 news) National Airlines (PIA) Doubled the excess baggage charges compared to private airlines.

As per details, fixed charges on domestic projects from 1st April 5 1000 has been fixed, fixed charges have been applied to excess baggage based on one to 20 kg, the old excess charges of the airline were less than Rs 100 per kg, PIA is charging Rs 250 per kg under fixed charges.

The PIA spokesperson said that the charges have been fixed due to the fluctuation in fuel price, there is no concern of loss due to the excess number of flights compared to private airlines.
