Ban on the export of pink salt, the country's reserves will not allow the price of salt to sell, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz

Lahore(94 news) Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz called for a comprehensive plan for the progress on the export of pink salt. The Chief Minister has ordered measures to ban the export of raw pink salt and has directed to ensure the safety of the mining workers.

A special meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister, in which the proposals to get revenue from pink salt were reviewed. In the meeting, the proposals of using modern technology for obtaining minerals in Punjab were considered and the plan for setting up a valued industry for pink salt was also reviewed.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said that valuable national reserves will not be allowed to sell at low prices. For Pakistan, pink salt is like a treasure.

Provincial Minister for Information and Culture Zahid Bukhari, Chief Secretary Zahid Akhtarzaman, Principal Secretary Sajid Zafar Dal, Secretary Minerals Babar Aman Babar participated in the meeting.
