Punjab Education Minister again denied closure of schools

Lahore (94 news) Punjab Education Minister Dr. Murad Ras denied baseless reports regarding school closure again.

According to the details, the provincial education minister Murad Ras has denied the baseless news regarding the re-closing of the schools on social media and said that they are not going to close the schools again. He said that I don't think that schools will have to be closed again, because the situation regarding Corona is under control, while last year, due to smog, they said to use masks.
In this regard, the Federal Minister of Education Shafqat Mahmood said that the hasty decision to close the educational institutions will destroy the teaching process, the decision regarding the opening of the educational institutions was made with thought and caution, the closure of the teaching process for six months has affected the students badly, before taking any decision, we will take the advice of the Ministry of Health, because the health of the students is our first priority. Schools have been closed due to non-implementation of SOPs.
Shafqat Mahmood further says that schools were inspected during a week. Implementation of SOPs in schools was reviewed. It should be noted that after the reduction in corona cases, educational institutions were opened in stages across the country from September 15. In the first stage, matriculation classes, colleges and universities started teaching.
National Command and Operations Center (This is COC ) According to the instructions of the Ministry of Health, social distancing should be adopted in schools to prevent the spread of corona virus, it will be mandatory for children and parents to wear masks, while parents have been instructed not to send their children to school if they show symptoms of cough or illness, if their health is worse, get tested, and immediately inform the school administration if the corona test is positive.
