The process of installing meters on Vasa water supply will be started soon, MD Vasa

Faisalabad (94 news) A weekly review meeting of the delegation of JICA Technical Assistants team was held under the chairmanship of Managing Director Vasa Amir Aziz, in which the JICA experts team gave a detailed briefing on the progress made so far on the water supply improvement project.

MD Wasa was told that the pipeline laying work has been started in People's Colony C Block, which is being accelerated, similarly, new meters for monitoring water supply in Madina Town will also start coming from next week. He further said that reading of meters will be done by computerized method while two tanks have been selected for monitoring where computerized units will be established. Addressing the meeting, MD Vasane said that consultation for the preparation of SOPs for machinery operations should be mandatory so that SOPs can be prepared unanimously which can be implemented to achieve 100% targets. He clarified that JICA is in full touch with the experts and the challenges faced in the completion of the project will be dealt with on priority basis.
