WASA Faisalabad staff arrived at Chiniot with safe drinking water for flood victims

Faisalabad (94 News City Reporter) According to the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, WASA reached Chiniot to provide clean drinking water to the people affected by the Faisalabad floods. On the instructions of Provincial Secretary Housing Noor Alamin Mengal and DG Punjab Wasa Tayyab Farid, Managing Director Wasa Sohail Qadir Cheema for providing drinking water to the flood victims. 3 Water dispensers were appointed while one and a half liter water bottles produced at the bottling plant of Vasa Faisalabad were also delivered to the flood relief camp. To review these measures, MD WASA Sohail Qadir Cheema visited the flood-affected areas in Chiniot and reviewed the measures to supply water from the water tanker of WASA Faisalabad there. On this occasion, he also distributed one and a half liter bottles of water among the flood affected people. On this occasion, he said that one water tanker from Chiniot Road to Bhawana, another water tanker from Bhawana to Jhang while the third water tanker has been deployed from Chiniot to Lahore Road. MD WASA further said that the supply of clean drinking water to the flood victims is being done on a priority basis and WASA Faisalabad has come forward for public service. He clarified that the staff of the Water Directorate will also perform their duty with the water browser and abundant water will be provided to the flood victims. MD WASA Sohail Qadir Cheema further said that uninterrupted drinking water will be provided to the flood victims for which all resources are being utilised. DMD Services Ikramullah Chaudhry and officers of Water Directorate were also accompanied during the visit of MD Wasa Sohail Qadir Cheema to Chiniot.
