Youth should be strongly encouraged by attracting them to sports, Divisional Commissioner

Faisalabad(94 news) Divisional Commissioner Mahmood Javed Bhatti has said that the importance of sports along with quality education cannot be denied and the youth should be strongly encouraged by attracting them towards sports so that they can grow up with energetic bodies. He said this while speaking as the chief guest at the inauguration of the four-day All Pakistan Schools Educational Olympiad competition at the Divisional Public School College. Principal DPS Shahid Mehmood, Divisional Sports Officer Tariq Nazir, Assistant Commissioner General Maswar Khan Niazi, President Chamber of Commerce Rao Sikandar Azam, principals of other public schools, students and parents from educational institutions across the country were also present. The Divisional Commissioner appreciated the great performance of the students on the occasion of the opening ceremony and said that the representation of all the provinces in the competitions is a great expression of solidarity, thanks to which they learned a lot from each other's experiences. Learning opportunities are given. He said that sports competitions should be organized regularly to provide opportunities to students to participate in co-curricular activities. 8 They will continue till November in which there will be handball, cricket, hockey, football, basketball, table tennis and other competitions among school students. He said that public schools from DPS&C, Sandal College, Fazal Haq School Mardan, Government Rustam Khan Jamali High School, DPS Kasur, Cadet College Mustang, Swabi Cadet College, Sukkur, Karachi, Sahiwal, Loralai, Attock and other cities are participating in the competitions. At the beginning of the competitions, the students presented various tableaus representing the March Past and the provinces.
