Special Assistant to Shehzad Akbar rejects draft amendment to NAB Ordinance

Islam Abad (94 news) Special Assistant for Accountability Shahzad Akbar has said that no draft has been prepared yet regarding the NAB Ordinance, the current draft and the news are not correct, the government believes in transparent accountability.

Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Accountability Shehzad Akbar denied the preparation of NAB amendment ordinance, he said that the opposition and NAB are yet to be consulted regarding the amendment of NAB ordinance.

Shahzad Akbar said that the draft amendment of the NAB Ordinance circulating on social media is not correct, efforts will be made to amend the NAB rules through the Parliament.
