Faisalabad(94 news) The staff of mobile veterinary dispensaries are actively working to provide animal health and treatment related facilities and awareness to the livestock keepers on behalf of the Department of Livestock, Government of Punjab. Each mobile veterinary dispensary has a veterinary officer, a veterinary assistant, a cattle attendant and a driver. Currently, a total of 20 mobile veterinary dispensaries are working across the division, including five in Faisalabad district, four each in Chiniot and Toba Tek Singh and a total of seven mobile veterinary dispensaries in Jhang district. These mobile veterinary dispensaries are equipped with all kinds of modern equipment, tools and medicines. In this regard, Director Livestock Dr. Syed Nadeem Badr says that through these mobile veterinary dispensaries, the livestock keepers of remote areas are provided free treatment for their animals at their doorsteps, along with providing them with the health, treatment, better care, maintenance and welfare of the livestock keepers by the Livestock Department. Awareness is also provided through Kisan Livestock Sitak program about new development projects, especially Chief Minister Punjab Livestock Card.
