4 models to market in Faisalabad, fyyrprays counters are working on 23 Mega Stores, Deputy Commissioner
Faisalabad(94news) On the instructions of Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar, fair price counters are working at four model bazaars and 23 mega stores in the city to sell essential items to the consumers at cheap prices, where the items of daily use are available at rates lower than the DC rate. Model Bazar Riaz Shahid Chowk Islamnagar, Kaleem Shaheed Park Ghulam Mohammad Abad, Model Bazar Jhang Road and Faizan Madina Chowk are functional in Madina Town, while Fair Price counters have been set up at mega stores/malls in the city including SB Stores D Ground, Jhang Road, Samandri Road, Sargodha Road, Ghulam Muhammadabad, Best Departmental Store Ghulam Muhammadabad, Dinob Mart, Millat Road, Gulistan Colony, Family Mart, Millat Road, Gulistan Colony, Pathan Mart, Gulistan Colony, Rachna Superstorm, Gulistan Colony, Bimenu Mart D Ground City Cash and Carry Canal Road, City Mega Mart D Ground, E Mart Susan Road Madina Town, Salemi Home Plus Koh Noor Road, Lathani Mart Masjid Ismail Road(Divord), Marhaba Mart Canal Road, Qatar Super Store Canal Road, 511 Cash & Carry Sargodha Road, Tempo Store People's Colony, HC Store, Saeed Mart Jinnah Colony and Makkah Cash & Carry Kalburg Road.
Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ali said that the district administration is continuing a full crackdown against self-inflicted inflation and hoarding of essential items. He said that the price control magistrates are actively working throughout the district to prevent self-inflation and during this month, 1156 wholesalers have been fined 11 lakh 25 thousand rupees for charging excessive prices while checking the prices. The Deputy Commissioner said that the auction process of fruits and vegetables in vegetable markets is also being continuously monitored to prevent unjustified increase in prices. The Deputy Commissioner said that the prices of flour, sugar, ghee and other commodities are being closely monitored. Therefore, the people will not be allowed to be exploited by the inflation mafia.
