Citizens should take precautionary measures to avoid smog, Asiya, Kashif Farooq


Faisalabad(94 news) In order to deal with the possible smog situation in the changing weather and to avoid its harmful effects, the citizens should implement precautionary measures to protect health. This was said by Medical Social Officer FIC Asia Faqir Hussain while distributing pamphlets containing precautionary measures among the relatives of patients and citizens in various wards of Faisalabad Institute of Cardiology organized by Heart Saver Foundation and Medical Social Services Unit.
General Secretary Heart Saver Foundation Kashif Farooq, Manager Asma Muzamil were also present on this occasion. The medical social officer said that the smog situation in the environment due to the mixture of fog and smoke in the winter season can be harmful to human health, from which greater awareness about preventive measures is the best measure. He asked the citizens to inform their family members and neighbors about ways to avoid the harmful effects of smog. He praised the government's steps and policies in the right direction to control the damages of climate change and said that the negative effects of climate change can be controlled by more planting and protection of trees. The General Secretary of the Heart Saver Foundation said that timely recognition of climatic disturbances is essential so that these challenges can be faced in the future with full preparedness. He said that precautionary measures must be taken in every house to protect health in the smog situation.
